Review Summary
Halloween is possibly THE most iconic movie of it's particular kind. It's spare but highly effective script set a template that others have copied numerous times over the years. The acting outside of Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence isn't great. The haunting and iconic score and direction by Wes Craven is a masterclass in simplicity. Michael Myers is the original king of the slasher picture and this movie shows why. It holds up after all of these years as one of the very best Horror movies of all-time.
