While fans of historical accuracy will be disappointed at the end product, from an emotional and character standpoint, the movie manages to humanize someone who has essentially become a caricature over time. Deft direction, beautiful cinematography, and a wonderful lead performance by Kirsten Dunst highlight one of the more misunderstood movies since 2000.
